My name is Elijah. If you're reading this, you're about to find out the truth. Not a truth that's being hidden, or supressed, but a truth that most have tried to forget. Perhaps a colleague of mine has directed you here, perhaps you came here because you've started to uncover the truth yourself. All that matters is that you're here, reading this.
Now, where to begin? This website is many things. It's a journal, a wiki, a guide, a documentation of my findings. What am I studying you may ask? Well, the answer is simple. Cryptids.
Well, maybe that isn't quite as simple as I thought. Allow me to explain.
No matter where you live, be it the Americas, Asia, Australia, even the North Pole, there's no doubt you've heard fantastical tales of monsters, ghosts, demons. Some of these are local legends, while some are world famous folklore. Dear reader, all of these stories, all these creatures, they roam this very earth.
You very well may be panicking now, you may very well be laughing, you most likely think I'm insane. But I urge you to keep reading.
I've dedicated my entire adulthood thus far to researching these creatures, and after being at it for several years, I realized that keeping it to myself, and my small community of other researchers, was wrong. The public deserves to know. They deserve to know not just that these creatures exist, but how to defend themselves, and how they can peacefully coexist, for many of them are simply misunderstood.
